map showing Daytona Beach location The Daytona Beach area is easy to reach by car. It is located at the crossroads of Interstate 95 at Interstate 4 along Central Florida's east coast. The area is about an hour north of Melbourne and an hour south of Jacksonville. There are several exits along Interstate 95 serving the area between Exit 85 south of Daytona Beach and Interstate 89 north of Daytona Beach. International Speedway Boulevard (formerly known as Volusia Avenue and still known as US92) is at Exit 87A.

Book a flight to Daytona International Airport. Service on Delta Airlines offers convenient flights with connections through major hubs. The airport is state-of-the-art and is just minutes from the beach. For those who must arrive at Orlando International Airport, or Jacksonville International Airport, count on about a ninety minute drive from those airports to the Daytona Beach area. Ground transportation is available from Orlando through DOTS (Daytona Orlando Transit Service) at OIA's ground transportation area.
